Kritek LLC has been in business since 2010 and is a single source, minority-owned company with DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) certification in Colorado. We maintain a small operational staff with minimal turnovers, thus it is a closely knit group of individuals used to working together and able to call on one another’s expertise to collectively get the best job done.When the company began in 2010, we brought together a team of people that had been serving the local Department of Transportation with their Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) for years—some of whom had been involved since the initial creation of that system—to serve the evolution of that system with experience and expertise.
Since then, we have only added to our pool of experienced professionals. Over the last four years, the project responsibility of the company has increased tenfold. The increase comes through projects with CDOT of increasing complexity as well as projects with DART (Dallas, TX), Regional Transportation Department (RTD) local transit, Douglas County, the City of Vail, and the City and County of Denver. Our ability to expand our project and client base is largely due to our company’s expertise in devices, communications, integration with systems, and reporting. Our expertise in all of those areas has helped us to carve out a niche in advanced traffic management system design and support.
Kritek endeavors to create a sustainable organization providing transportation management systems for federal, state and local entities. Kritek’s vision is to establish themselves as a software company with a single platform that’s lightweight, scalable and modular to meet all demands of a Traffic Management Center. They aspire to expand existing software to include tunnel management, corridor management, and tolling infrastructure.

Pawan has more than 14 years of experience with project management, software development and integration of enterprise systems. He has more than 12 years of experience working in the Transportation and Transit industry. Pawan, a post graduate from University Of Colorado (Denver), formed Kritek 5 years ago in 2010 and it has grown consistently. When Pawan is not behind computers he follows professional football (Broncos), Cricket (Indian Cricket Team) and Soccer. Pawan enjoys golf and family vacations with his wife Nisha and son Krish.
Jason Westra
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Westra has more than 20 years in the software industry and has designed Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) for 10 of those. He has participated at all levels of product and business development. In 1999, he founded Evolution Hosting, whose flagship offering was built on the software-as-a-service concept. Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) recognized Mr. Westra’s talents in 2006 with the prestigious CSC Technical Excellence award for his part in designing Colorado’s transportation management solution. Subsequently, Mr. Westra joined Kritek as Chief Technology Officer to lead the design of its next generation ATMS software-as-a-service platform.

Mr. Chandrasekhar is an Information Technology professional with more than 12 years of work experience in Java/JEE, Swing, XML, Webservice, JavaScript & Object Oriented development. His work experience includes 4 years in telecom ordering applications, 7+ years in transportation related applications, database, middleware & UI development in Windows and UNIX environments.
